CURRENT OPORTUNITIES

Structural EIT/PE

Looking for a detail oriented structural EIT or PE to prepare structural calculations and details of structural elements for commercial, industrial and residential projects.  Construction administration responsibilities include responding to RFI’s and reviewing construction submittals for conformance to contract and design documents.

Requirements:

– Ability to analyze structures using various structural engineering software programs

– Ability to work in fast paced environment

– Excellent communication skills

– 2-8 years experience

– BSCE Minimum with EIT license required, PE license Preferred

Storefront / Curtain Wall Engineer

Looking for a detail oriented structural PE to prepare structural calculations and details of structural elements for building cladding on commercial and industrial projects.  Construction administration responsibilities include responding to RFI’s and reviewing shop drawing submittals for conformance to contract and design documents.

Engineering Technician

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have an understanding of the construction process and have a 4-year college degree, preferably in construction engineering or construction management. 

Job Description: Daily job duties include performing special inspections on new construction projects, remodels and tenant improvements. Inspections are performed to ensure the constructed item complies with the structural and architectural design documents. The candidate will also be involved in performing forensic and construction defect inspections. Forensic inspections involve a process of investigating the cause and origin of a problem to correct resultant damage that is currently present. Construction defect inspections are performed as part of an ongoing lawsuit to determine the extent that alleged defects exist. This includes photo and written documentation of the size, type and location of observed defects.

 Special Requirements: Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable on company vehicle insurance. Limited travel and overnight stay may be required. Flexible schedule required.

 Benefits: The position is a full-time career and growth oriented position with availability for overtime, benefits and training to obtain national inspection certifications.
